Information for whistleblowers
The OBO Bettermann Group has launched a whistleblower system in implementation of the EU Directive 2019/1937 on the protection of whistleblowers.
The term "hints" includes any information related to allegedly unlawful or unethical facts in connection with the operation of the OBO Bettermann Group, as well as preventive information on possible dangers in this regard, in particular information relating to human rights or environmental risks and/or the violation of human rights or environmental obligations.
The submission of hints may take place personally, by telephone, in writing or in text form (e.g. by letter or e-mail) to the external, independent ombudsperson, whereby we encourage the submission by e-mail:

In order to ensure confidential processing of postal notes, we ask you to attach the address supplement "OBO-Hints."
Hints can also be provided anonymously. However, in order to support an effective processing of the hints, we encourage a personalized delivery.
The processing of hints is carried out in accordance with the laws, in particular always taking due account of the legitimate interests of all parties involved, in accordance with the requirements of data protection and data security and taking into account the required confidentiality.
